Veloscope is a technology-driven sports media and engagement platform operating across India. Through our ecosystem of products and services, we enable athlete engagement, event experiences, media discovery, brand collaborations, and community growth across multiple sports disciplines.

We are building the next generation of technology products for sports and events, spanning participant engagement platforms, media discovery systems, event operations, analytics, and digital experiences.

To support this vision, we are seeking highly motivated engineers and designers to join our residential internship program in Kerala.

As an Engineering & Design Intern, you will work directly with the founding and product teams to design, build, and launch real-world products used by athletes, event organizers, brands, and sports communities.

Depending on your area of interest and expertise, you will contribute across Frontend Engineering, Backend Engineering, Full Stack Engineering, or UI/UX Design.

• Build responsive, high-performance web applications using React and Next.js
• Implement modern user interfaces from design specifications
• Optimize applications for performance, accessibility, and usability
• Collaborate closely with designers and backend engineers

• Develop scalable APIs and backend services
• Design and maintain databases and data models
• Build integrations, workflows, and platform infrastructure
• Ensure reliability, security, and performance of backend systems

• Develop features across frontend and backend systems
• Design and implement end-to-end product functionality
• Participate in architecture, development, testing, and deployment
• Work closely with product, design, and engineering teams

• Conduct user research and translate insights into product experiences
• Create wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and visual designs
• Design intuitive and engaging user interfaces
• Collaborate with engineers to ensure high-quality implementation

• Strong fundamentals in programming and software development
• Experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Next.js, Node.js, Python, or similar technologies
• Understanding of APIs, databases, and modern development workflows
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to learn quickly and work independently

• Strong understanding of UI/UX principles
• Experience with Figma or similar design tools
• Portfolio demonstrating design thinking and execution
• Attention to detail and user-centered design practices

• Personal projects, open-source contributions, or freelance work
• Experience building and shipping products
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Passion for technology, design, sports, and innovation
