Engineer/Senior Engineer – Engine Design

Key Responsibilities:

• Able to make engine components design 3D model and 2D drawing
• Engine components design and development experience including packaging check
• Good knowledge and working design experience on engine 5C components
• Knowledge and hands-on Creo experience
• Understanding of engine components materials
• Knowledge on Casting, Forging and Sheet metal parts and design experience
• DFMEA, DFM, DVP preparation and GD&T and stack up analysis experience
• CAE report understanding and input boundary condition knowledge
• Knowledge on engine component supplier and development of components with supplier for finalizing technical feasibility
• Engine Application parts design based on customer vehicle interface and development experience
• Knowledge in engine BOM and creating new BOM
• Sample engine making as per customer requirement and testing knowledge

Education and Work Experience Requirements:

• BE / B Tech in Mechanical or Automobile Engineering (Full Time)
• 5 to 8 years experience in automotive OEM
• The candidate shall be an expert in engine components design, engine application development and good knowledge in Creo.
• New engine technology (CRDI, EGR, DOC, DPF and SCR)
• Engine components design 3D model and 2D drawing
• Engine 5C components
• GD&T and Stack up analysis
• Engine BOM and creating new BOM
