• BE in Mechanical Engineering with 35 years experience, OR
• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (DME) with 57 years experience

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled CAD Design Engineer with hands-on expertise in Creo and Windchill. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing products, modifying mechanical components and assemblies, and ensuring accuracy, manufacturability, and compliance with product requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop part models and assembly models using Creo (v5 or higher).
• Create detailed engineering drawings for release of the parts and assemblies.
• Prepare and manage Bill of Materials (BOM).
• Design and modify sheet metal parts and steel fabrications.
• Apply GD&T and adhere to engineering drawing standards.
• Work within a PLM environment (Windchill preferred).
• Understand and manage EBOM, PBOM, SBOM structures.
• Ensure design documentation and release processes are followed.
• Perform basic DFA/DFM/DFS analysis.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to 3D modeling.
• Conduct design calculations to validate engineering solutions.

Required Skills & Competencies

• 35 years of experience with Creo5 or higher.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in sheet metal design and steel fabrication.
• Strong knowledge of fabrication processes.
• Familiarity with design release workflows.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a PLM environment.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
