Email + SMS + WhatsApp Automation

WHAT THIS ROLE IS

We run a high-volume B2B e-commerce business with customers in the US, UK, Canada, and Australia. Right now our automated communication is underbuilt. You will fix that. You'll map the entire customer journey from first enquiry to post-delivery follow-up and build the automation that keeps customers engaged, informed, and buying again. This is a technical-creative role: half plumber, half copywriter.

WHAT YOU WILL OWN

Build and manage all drip sequences across email (Klaviyo/Mailchimp), SMS, and WhatsApp (WABA/Interakt or similar)

Map every stage of the customer journey and ensure no touchpoint goes unautomated

Create flows for: new lead nurture, quote follow-up, post-purchase, review requests, re-engagement, and win-back

Maintain list hygiene segmentation, suppression, unsubscribe compliance across all channels

Write or brief all copy for automated messages tone must be sharp, human, and on-brand

Report on open rates, CTR, conversion from automation, and unsubscribe rates weekly

Work hand-in-glove with the Retention Marketing and Customer Success functions to align messaging

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

3+ years of hands-on experience building automation flows not just scheduling broadcasts

Proficiency in at least two of: Klaviyo, Mailchimp, WebEngage, MoEngage, Interakt, WABA, or equivalent

Strong copywriting skills you can write a follow-up message that gets a response at 2am in New York

Data-driven mindset you live in dashboards and optimise based on what the numbers say

Experience with B2B or high-AOV e-commerce is a strong plus

Understanding of deliverability, opt-in compliance (CAN-SPAM, GDPR basics), and list health

A role where you wait to be told what to build you're expected to audit what's missing and propose the roadmap

Compensation: 55,000.00 - 62,000.00 per month
