We are looking for an experienced and driven Controls Engineer to join our maintenance and automation team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring smooth operation, troubleshooting, commissioning, and continuous improvement of electrical and automation systems within a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical & automation equipment

Reading and interpretation of electrical drawings and PLC logic

Support installation, commissioning, and startup activities

Perform preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance

Diagnose equipment failures and conduct root cause analysis

Configure and troubleshoot VFDs, PLCs, sensors, relays, and control circuits

Conduct I/O checks, interlock verification, and system debugging

Maintain technical documentation and maintenance records

Provide technical support and contribute to new product/application development

Train process and operations personnel on systems and equipment

Participate in continuous improvement, energy-saving, and sustainability initiatives

What Were Looking For:

B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering

710 years of experience in maintenance & automation within the metallurgical/manufacturing industry

Strong knowledge of PLCs, drives, instrumentation, and process control systems

Hands-on experience in commissioning and industrial troubleshooting

Familiarity with ISO 14001, safety compliance, and EHS practices

Additional Focus Areas:

Power and water consumption reduction initiatives

Compliance with safety and environmental standards

Participation in Layer & Gemba audits

Ensuring a safe and sustainable work environment
