Requirements
Job Title: Aveva E3D Administrator (Aveva CAD Administrator)
Objectives
The Aveva E3D Administrator is primarily responsible for administering 3D model execution tasks and maintaining database integrity throughout the project, with minimal supervision. The role supports the creation and management of Aveva E3D / PDMS environments, project libraries, user access, and drafting workflows in alignment with customer and project requirements.

Project design and customer compliance maintained consistently.
Contributes to the effectiveness and efficiency of the design/drafting team.
Ability to work with high energy and flexibility under tight deadlines and short time constraints.
Proactive interaction with users and discipline leads to capture design requirements and enhancements.
Key Activities
- Project & Library Setup
- Set up Aveva E3D project libraries, project folders, PML libraries, and all common server setups.
- Set up and initialize Aveva E3D / PDMS global projects at Hub and Satellite as the Global Administrator.
- User & Access Management
- Create Aveva E3D projects, users, teams, catalogs, databases, MDBs (Multiple Databases), and define roles, scopes, and ACRs (Access Control Rights).
- Ensure security and dataaccess control across disciplines and project teams.
- Catalog & Specification Administration
- Administer Aveva E3D catalogues and specifications in the Catalog module.
- Customization of UDAs (User Defined Attributes) in the Lexicon module.
- Discipline Customization & Drafting
- Work on multidisciplinary supports customization in E3D as required.
- Administer 2D drafting for all disciplines using the Aveva E3D Draw module.
- Administer IsoDraft for isometric drawings.
- Requirements Capture & User Interaction
- Interact directly with users and discipline leads to capture requirements, special needs, and enhancements related to project design workflows.
- Support projectwide designsupport automation and standardization.
- Quality & Compliance Support
- Ensure design and drafting workflows align with international codes and standards and project quality guidelines.

- Competency Requirements
Technical & Functional Skills
Familiar with Aveva E3D / PDMS administration, globalproject setup, and multidiscipline support workflows.
Familiar with 2D and 3D drafting workflows and detailengineering project lifecycle.
Familiar with international codes and standards relevant to plant and piping design.
Soft Skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
Ability to function effectively in a team environment and manage multiple requests concurrently.
Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with a structured troubleshooting approach.
Qualifications
Educational Background
Bachelors Degree in Engineering OR
Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical / Civil / ECE / related)
Experience
Minimum 3 years of professional experience as an Aveva Administrator (E3D / PDMS).
Handson experience in project library setup, user/role/ACR management, and drafting administration.
