Electrical Design Engineer

Role Description

• Strong electrical engineering knowledge: Proficient in power systems, lighting, grounding, and building services.
• Proficiency in design tools: Skilled in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, Dialux, or similar software.

Responsibilities

• Electrical System Design: Develop detailed electrical designs for residential, commercial, and mixed-use real estate projects, including power distribution, lighting, earthing, and low-voltage systems.

• Load Calculations & Sizing: Perform electrical load calculations, cable sizing, voltage drop analysis and short-circuit studies to optimize system performance and safety.

• Technical Documentation: Prepare and review Single Line Diagrams (SLD), Distribution Board Schedules (DBR), layout plans, and technical specifications for tendering and approvals.

• Coordination & Collaboration: Work closely with architects, mechanical engineers, and contractors to integrate electrical systems seamlessly into building designs.

• Site Supervision & Quality Assurance: Oversee installation activities, conduct site inspections, and ensure compliance with design specifications and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Immediate Joiners preferred.
• Bachelors or masters degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 26 years in electrical design within the real estate or construction industry.
