About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Education Counsellor with expertise in international higher education advisory and student admissions. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience guiding students through study abroad opportunities, university selection, application processes, and visa requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Counsel prospective students and parents on study abroad opportunities across destinations such as the UK, USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Europe, and other international markets.
• Assess students' academic profiles, career aspirations, and financial considerations to recommend suitable universities and programs.
• Guide students through the end-to-end admission process, including university shortlisting, application submission, documentation, SOPs, LORs, and offer acceptance.
• Provide accurate information on admission requirements, eligibility criteria, scholarships, tuition fees, and visa processes.
• Maintain regular follow-ups with prospective students to drive application conversions and enrollment targets.
• Achieve monthly and quarterly student conversion and enrollment targets.
• Build and maintain strong knowledge of international universities, courses, admission trends, and immigration regulations.
• Coordinate with university partners and internal teams to ensure a seamless student experience.
• Participate in education fairs, webinars, seminars, and student outreach activities.
• Maintain accurate student records and update CRM systems regularly.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelors degree in any discipline.
• Minimum 23 years of experience in international education counseling, study abroad consulting, or overseas admissions.
• Proven experience counseling students for international university admissions.
• Strong knowledge of major study destinations including the UK, USA, Canada, Australia, and Europe.
• Understanding of application processes, student visas, scholarships, and admission requirements.
• Prior experience handling applications for the UK, USA, Canada, Australia, and Europe will be preferred.
• Excellent communication, counseling, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple student applications simultaneously and meet enrollment targets.
• Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office applications.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with overseas education consultancies or international university recruitment teams.
• Knowledge of visa documentation and compliance requirements.
• Strong relationship-building and student engagement skills.
