Job Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented E-commerce Accountant who understands marketplace accounting (Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, etc.) along with strong knowledge of GST compliance, TDS, and account finalization. The role involves handling day-to-day accounting, reconciliation of marketplace settlements, and ensuring accurate statutory filings.
Key Responsibilities Accounting & Bookkeeping- Maintain books of accounts in Tally / Zoho / Busy
- Record daily transactions, sales, purchases, expenses
- Perform bank and ledger reconciliations
- Reconcile Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra settlements with books
- Track commissions, fees, refunds, and returns
- Handle payment gateway reconciliation (Razorpay, PayU, etc.)
- Maintain SKU-wise sales and profitability tracking
- Prepare and file:
- GSTR-1
- GSTR-3B
- Reconcile GSTR-2B with purchase data
- Handle GST working for marketplace (including TCS adjustments)
- Identify and correct mismatches
- Calculate and file TDS returns
- Handle TDS reconciliation
- Ensure compliance with applicable sections (e.g., 194C, 194H, etc.)
- Assist in monthly and yearly closing
- Prepare financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet)
- Coordinate with CA for audit and filings
- Generate MIS reports
- Analyze expenses, margins, and profitability
- Highlight discrepancies and suggest corrections
- Strong understanding of:
- GST (GSTR-1, 3B, 2B reconciliation)
- TDS & compliance
- Marketplace accounting (Amazon, Flipkart, etc.)
- Experience with accounting software (Tally preferred)
- Good Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables)
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- 25 years experience in accounting (e-commerce preferred)
- Commerce graduate (B.Com / M.Com)
- Experience in marketplace reconciliation is a BIG plus
- Based in or willing to work in Surat
he ideal candidate will be involved with preparing financial reports and statements, bank reconciliations, and conducting cyclical audits. Moreover, the candidate must have strong interpersonal skills and possess a strong business acumen.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- Ability to interpret and analyze financial statements and periodicals
- Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
