Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Draftsman role located in Chennai. The Draftsman will be responsible for preparing detailed technical drawings, designs, and blueprints for projects. The role will also involve interpreting design briefs, utilizing CAD software to create accurate representations of projects, and collaborating with team members to ensure design accuracy and compliance with project specifications. The chosen candidate will continuously coordinate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to meet project goals effectively.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in CAD software and technical drawing tools
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to produce accurate 2D and 3D designs
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with architects, engineers, and multidisciplinary teams
• Knowledge of design codes, construction techniques, and structural requirements
• Familiarity with project documentation and blueprint interpretation
• Relevant academic qualifications or certifications in drafting, architecture, engineering, or a related field
• Prior experience of 5 years in similar roles is an added advantage
• Strong communication skills and the ability to adhere to deadlines
