Director – Data Platform Engineering

Were looking for a senior technology leader to shape and scale modern, secure data and analytics platforms that power business decisions, AI, and enterprise-wide insight.

As Director Data Platform Engineering, youll lead a high-performing engineering team, driving the vision, strategy, and delivery of cloud data platforms across technologies such as Snowflake, Microsoft Fabric, and AWS.

What youll be doing:

Defining the roadmap for scalable, reliable, and well-governed data platforms

Leading and growing engineering teams with a strong people-first culture

Embedding governance, security, privacy, and compliance by design

Driving self-service, API-first data experiences across the business

Establishing engineering standards across Python, Spark, dbt, and modern data pipelines

Partnering with senior stakeholders across Sales, Finance, Risk, HR, and Operations

What were looking for:

Proven leadership of large-scale cloud data platform engineering teams

Strong experience across Snowflake, Microsoft Fabric, AWS, Spark, Python, dbt

Deep understanding of data governance, security, and compliance frameworks

Experience with tools such as Microsoft Purview, Collibra, or similar

Strong architectural decision-making and stakeholder engagement skills

A leader who builds trust, clarity, and high-performing teams
