Seeking a Senior Specialist with 7 to 11 years of experience in Dimensional Data Modelling to design and optimize data models supporting business and IT teams

Job Description

Perform detailed dimensional data modeling to design efficient and scalable data warehouse and business intelligence solutions Analyze and understand complex business processes to translate them into effective data models Collaborate closely with IT and business stakeholders to ensure data models meet functional requirements Evaluate existing data models and optimize for performance consistency and usability Utilize knowledge of relational databases and data warehousing concepts to support data integration and reporting needs Work with crossfunctional teams in an agile environment to deliver highquality data solutions Maintain documentation related to data models standards and best practices Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in data modeling techniques and tools

Roles and Responsibilities

Lead the design and development of dimensional data models that align with business objectives Facilitate requirement gathering sessions with multiple stakeholders to capture both functional and nonfunctional needs Act as a liaison between IT and business teams to ensure clarity and alignment of data requirements Drive the analysis and refinement of data requirements to translate them into technical specifications Collaborate with development teams architects and analysts to support system design and implementation Ensure data models comply with organizational standards such as Canonical Data Model where applicable Support data quality initiatives by identifying discrepancies and optimizing data structures Mentor junior team members and promote knowledge sharing within the data modeling family Utilize project management tools like Jira and Bitbucket for tracking deliverables and version control
