Role Overview

We are looking for a Development Manager to lead product engineering initiatives for a cutting-edge product suite focused on balance sheet management and risk technology. This is a leadership role requiring strong technical expertise, product thinking, and team management capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end product development aligned with roadmap priorities
• Manage and scale analytical & no-code development teams
• Collaborate with product, implementation, and business stakeholders
• Drive architecture discussions and technical design decisions
• Ensure best practices in development, testing, and deployment processes
• Engage with client tech & information security teams
• Work on pricing models, risk modeling, and balance sheet projections
• Drive innovation using modern technologies to enhance product performance
• Mentor and lead a team of developers and associates

Key Requirements

• 710 years of experience in Product Development / Engineering Leadership
• Strong expertise in Python and SQL
• Experience in Risk Technology / Data Engineering / Financial Systems
• Understanding of financial markets & products (Equity, FX, Fixed Income, Derivatives)
• Strong stakeholder management & communication skills
• Proven ability to lead teams and deliver complex projects

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Engineering / Mathematics / Statistics / Economics
• Certifications like FRM / CQF / Actuarial (preferred)
• Experience with tools like Bloomberg / Reuters / ALM / Treasury systems

Travel Requirements

• Short-term travel (including international) may be required
