About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled Software Engineer with strong expertise in AWS, NodeJS, and TypeScript to build and maintain scalable, high-performance applications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in microservices architecture, serverless technologies, and cloud-native development.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain code following software development best practices
Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and other code quality initiatives
Build scalable, high-volume asynchronous and synchronous REST services using microservices architecture
Design, develop, and deliver software solutions using AWS, Java, and Spring Boot
Troubleshoot and resolve issues across development, testing, and production environments
Collaborate closely with Software Engineers and Quality Engineers in team-based development efforts
Work in an Agile/Scrum environment to deliver high-quality software
Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
7+ years of professional software development experience
Proven experience building scalable, high-volume applications
Hands-on experience with NodeJS and TypeScript
Strong experience with AWS cloud services, including:
Lambda, EventBridge, SQS, SNS, Kinesis, S3, DynamoDB, Elasticsearch, API Gateway, CloudFormation
Experience developing serverless applications (Lambda, Step Functions)
Experience with NoSQL and relational databases
Strong troubleshooting and production support experience
Experience with monitoring tools like Splunk and Datadog
Familiarity with development tools such as VS Code

Preferred Qualifications

Understanding of Event-Driven Architecture
Experience with Java and Spring Boot
Experience deploying applications on AWS EKS clusters
Experience with GitHub Actions
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automation testing
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
