We at Coforge are seeking a Desktop Support Engineer " to support IT operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Provide onsite support for:
- Desktops and laptops
- Barcode and MRP printers
- Handheld, fixed, and RF scanners
- Ensure smooth functioning of production line IT infrastructure with minimal downtime
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network-related issues
- Handle incidents, service requests, and changes using ServiceNow or similar ITSM tools
- Monitor and manage tickets within defined SLAs and escalate when required
- Perform installation, configuration, and maintenance of IT equipment
- Coordinate with L2/L3 teams and vendors for issue resolution
- Maintain proper documentation of incidents and solutions
- Support a high-availability environment with quick turnaround time
