Job Responsibility

Medical Responsibilities:

1. Diagnosing Skin Conditions Identifying diseases such as acne, eczema, psoriasis, rosacea, and skin infections.
2. Treating Skin Disorders Prescribing medications, therapies, or lifestyle changes to manage conditions.
3. Skin Cancer Detection & Treatment Conducting skin exams, biopsies, and performing treatments like Mohs surgery or excisions.
4. Cosmetic Dermatology Performing procedures like Botox, fillers, laser treatments, and chemical peels.
5. Surgical Dermatology Removing cysts, moles, and skin cancers surgically.
6. Allergy Testing Conducting patch tests to diagnose allergic skin reactions.
7. Hair and Scalp Treatments Addressing conditions like alopecia, dandruff, or fungal infections.
8. Nail Disorders Treatment Diagnosing and treating nail-related problems like fungal infections and psoriasis.

Administrative & Patient Care Responsibilities:

1. Consulting with Patients Taking medical histories and discussing concerns.
2. Developing Treatment Plans Creating customized care strategies for patients.
3. Educating Patients Advising on skincare routines, sun protection, and preventive measures.
4. Collaborating with Other Specialists Referring patients to oncologists, allergists, or plastic surgeons when needed.
5. Maintaining Medical Records Documenting patient conditions, treatments, and follow-ups.

Research & Continuous Learning:

1. Staying Updated Keeping up with advancements in dermatology treatments and technology.
2. Participating in Research Conducting or contributing to clinical studies and trials.
3. Teaching & Training Educating medical students, residents, or other healthcare professionals.
