Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced DBA Consultant to support our growing datainfrastructure. This is a part-time consulting role ideal for someone who is hands-on,solution-oriented, and experienced in cloud-based database environments.

You will be responsible for maintaining, optimizing, and supporting database systems, aswell as assisting in database migrations and performance improvements.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and optimize PostgreSQL databases

Administer and maintain databases on AWS

Work with Time-Series databases

Lead and support database migration initiatives

Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure data integrity

Recommend improvements for scalability, reliability, and security

Required Experience

Strong experience with AWS database services

Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL

Experience working with Time-Series Databases

Proven experience in database migration projects

Strong understanding of database performance tuning and optimization

Ability to work independently in a remote environment
