Datastage Developer

We are looking for a highly skilled DataStage Developer with 7+ years of experience in ETL development, data integration, and data warehousing projects. The ideal candidate should possess strong hands-on experience in designing, developing, and optimizing DataStage jobs in enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain ETL solutions using IBM InfoSphere DataStage.

Build and support complex Parallel Jobs, Server Jobs, and Sequences.

Analyze business requirements and convert them into scalable ETL solutions.

Develop data extraction, transformation, and loading processes from multiple source systems.

Perform ETL performance tuning and optimization.

Troubleshoot production issues and provide root cause analysis.

Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and database teams.

Prepare technical documentation and support deployment activities.

Ensure data quality, integrity, and adherence to development standards.

Mandatory Skills

7+ years of IBM DataStage Development experience.

Strong expertise in DataStage Parallel Jobs.

Hands-on experience with DataStage Designer, Director, and Administrator.

Strong SQL skills and database concepts.

Experience with Data Warehousing and ETL methodologies.

Experience working with Oracle, SQL Server, DB2, Teradata, or similar databases.

Unix/Linux scripting knowledge.

ETL performance tuning and troubleshooting experience.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

Control-M / Autosys scheduling tools.

Data Modeling concepts.

Cloud platform exposure (AWS/Azure/GCP).

Experience in Banking and Financial Services domain.

Agile/Scrum development methodology.
