About the Company
The Cloud DCOps Team Lead will join the Radware Cloud Division to establish and lead a newly formed DCOps team responsible for building, operating, and scaling Radwares global cloud and data center infrastructure. This is a leadership role combining hands-on technical expertise with team formation, process creation, and operational ownership. The Team Lead will define operating models, build foundational processes, and recruit and mentor the DCOps team, ensuring platform stability, high availability, and long-term scalability.
About the Role
The Cloud DCOps Team Lead will establish and lead the Cloud DCOps function from the ground up.
Responsibilities
- Define the teams operational scope, responsibilities, and engagement model.
- Build initial operational processes, runbooks, escalation paths, and standards.
- Own day-to-day cloud and data center operations across all global PoPs.
- Act as the primary technical and operational escalation point for the DCOps team.
- Participate in hiring, onboarding, and training of Cloud DCOps Engineers.
- Mentor engineers and establish a culture of ownership and operational excellence.
- Lead by example with a hands-on approach during critical activities and incidents.
- Ability to translate architectural requirements into operational tasks and guide the team through execution.
- Deploy and operate infrastructure handed off from architecture and engineering teams.
- Oversee hands-on operations for servers, storage, and network equipment.
- Ensure correct execution of installation, racking, cabling, labeling, RMA, and decommissioning of equipment.
- Manage space, power, and track inventory across all PoPs.
- Establish procedures, runbooks, and operational documentation from scratch.
- Identify operational gaps and implement tooling, scripts, and automation.
- Prepare and review SOWs defining operational scope and infrastructure tasks.
- Support capacity planning, new PoP onboarding, and infrastructure growth.
Qualifications
- 9+ years of experience in data center, infrastructure, or cloud operations roles.
- Proven experience leading or building operational functions or teams.
- Strong hands-on experience building server racks and DC infrastructure.
- Deep knowledge of Juniper routers and switches, L2/L3 switching, BGP, TCP/IP, IPv4/IPv6, and L4/L7 load balancing.
- Experience operating in mission-critical, production environments.
