Job Title: Databricks Architect

Location: Hyderabad, Telangana

Role Summary

We are looking for a senior Databricks Architect to lead the modernization of legacy reporting systems and guide a team in translating reporting requirements into trusted Gold-layer data products. The role requires strong architecture, data modeling, and mentoring capabilities, along with a focus on automation and engineering best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead analysis of legacy reports, data flows, and business requirements.
• Guide and mentor data engineers in building Gold-layer datasets and reporting solutions.
• Design scalable Gold-layer data models, KPIs, and business-ready data products.
• Establish data governance, coding standards, documentation, and data quality practices.
• Identify and implement automation opportunities using GitHub Copilot and AI-assisted development tools.
• Drive CI/CD, version control, and deployment best practices for Databricks assets.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to ensure reporting and analytics requirements are met.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Architecture, or Analytics Engineering.
• Strong expertise in Databricks, Delta Lake, PySpark, and SQL.
• Experience modernizing legacy reporting or analytics platforms.
• Strong data warehousing and dimensional modeling experience.
• Proven ability to mentor teams and provide technical leadership.
• Experience with data governance, engineering standards, and automation.
• Hands-on experience with GitHub Copilot, Git, and CI/CD practices.
• Experience with Azure, AWS, or GCP.

Preferred Skills

• SAP data integration and reporting experience.
• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar reporting tools.
• Knowledge of Unity Catalog and enterprise data governance frameworks.
