Job description

Job Title: Senior Database Administrator

Location: Hyderabad (Hybrid)

Duration: Full-time

The role involves leading 24x7 operations in a fast paced, distributed database environment that supports OLTP, NoSQL, and data warehouse systems. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable, secure, and highly available database solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead design and support of fault tolerant, highly available database solutions
• Ensure database security aligned with SOX, PCI, and ISO compliance standards
• Drive and support database migration, development, integration, and testing activities
• Convert system requirements into complete technical solutions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, provide guidance, and participate in peer reviews
• Perform capacity planning and performance tuning
• Set physical database parameters and refine database changes
• Develop data movement strategies and oversee database modifications

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

• Experience with performance tuning, fault tolerant systems, and secure DB environments
