Roles and Responsibilities:

Perform comprehensive data testing to ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity of data.
Develop and execute detailed test cases, scripts, and scenarios tailored to data testing requirements.
Validate data migration, transformation, and integration processes to ensure correctness.
Collaborate with data engineers and developers to understand data flows, business rules, and system requirements.
Analyze data discrepancies and generate detailed reports highlighting data quality issues.
Utilize automated testing tools and frameworks to enhance efficiency and coverage of data validation.
Ensure adherence to data governance, compliance, and security standards during all testing activities.
Design and implement effective testing strategies for various data solutions within the data testing domain.
Lead data testing initiatives across multiple projects, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality outcomes.
Identify, document, and track defects, inconsistencies, and anomalies within data pipelines.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues and discrepancies.
Mentor and guide junior testers on best practices, methodologies, and tools in data testing.
Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to increase efficiency and test coverage.
Participate actively in requirement analysis sessions and provide feedback on the testability of data systems.

Skills Required:

Strong experience in data testing, validation, and quality assurance
Proficiency with ADF and Databricks for data processing and testing
Experience in data migration, transformation, and integration validation
Ability to analyze data discrepancies and generate detailed quality reports
Knowledge of data governance, compliance, and security standards
Familiarity with automated testing tools and frameworks

Mentorship experience and ability to guide junior testers
