Data Scientist - R&D

What are we looking for?

We are seeking a skilled Data Science professional to support biologics R&D through the development of advanced machine learning, statistical, and mechanistic models. The role involves translating complex scientific and operational challenges into data-driven solutions, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and efficiency. The candidate will leverage emerging technologies, continuously optimize model performance, and communicate insights effectively through visualizations and reports.

What you will be doing:

• Develop and implement machine learning, statistical, and data-driven models to support biologics research and development.
• Build and apply mechanistic and kinetic models for process and biological system understanding.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify scientific and operational challenges and translate them into data science solutions.
• Explore and evaluate emerging technologies and methodologies to enhance data science capabilities in R&D.
• Monitor model performance and continuously improve accuracy and efficiency.
• Communicate findings through visualizations, dashboards, and reports.

Education:

• BTech/MTech in Chemical Engineering or Biotechnology with 45 years of relevant experience in the biopharmaceutical industry.
• Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering or Biotechnology of relevant industry experience. (0-1 Years experience)
