Role Overview

Were looking for a Senior Data Scientist (810 years) to drive analytics in the insurance domain. This is a client-facing role requiring strong ML expertise, hands-on modeling, and the ability to independently deliver insights and solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform EDA, feature engineering, and hypothesis testing for fraud/anomaly detection
• Build and optimize ML models (Random Forest, XGBoost, LightGBM, CatBoost)
• Apply NLP/LLM techniques on unstructured data (claims, notes, documents)
• Develop GenAI solutions (RAG, prompt engineering, insight generation)
• Write production-ready code in Python & SQL
• Work with large datasets on GCP (BigQuery, Cloud Storage)
• Present insights to technical and business stakeholders
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and drive projects end-to-end

Required Skills

• 3+ years in Data Science / ML
• Strong statistics, hypothesis testing, and ML fundamentals
• Expertise in tree-based/ensemble models
• Hands-on with SQL and Python
• Experience with LLMs/GenAI (OpenAI, Gemini, Llama, etc.)
• Exposure to GCP (BigQuery preferred)
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
