Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Generative AI Engineer with 35 years of experience in AI/ML and hands-on expertise in Vertex AI, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), Prompt Engineering, and OpenAI/GenAI technologies. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and deploy enterprise-grade GenAI solutions leveraging Large Language Models (LLMs) and cloud-native AI services.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop Generative AI applications using Vertex AI and OpenAI models.
• Build and optimize RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) pipelines using vector databases and enterprise data sources.
• Create, test, and refine prompts to improve LLM performance, accuracy, and response quality.
• Integrate LLMs with business applications, APIs, and cloud platforms.
• Develop AI-powered chatbots, copilots, document intelligence, and knowledge management solutions.
• Fine-tune, evaluate, and monitor GenAI models.
• Implement AI governance, security, and responsible AI practices.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and business teams to translate requirements into AI solutions.
• Deploy and manage AI workloads on Google Cloud Platform using Vertex AI.

Required Skills

• 35 years of software development and AI/ML experience.
• Hands-on experience with Vertex AI.
• Strong understanding of RAG Architecture and Vector Databases.
• Expertise in Prompt Engineering for LLMs.
• Experience with OpenAI APIs, GPT Models, and GenAI frameworks.
• Proficiency in Python.
• Experience with LangChain, LlamaIndex, or similar frameworks.
• Knowledge of embeddings, semantic search, and vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, ChromaDB, FAISS).
• Experience with REST APIs and microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, preferably GCP.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Agentic AI frameworks.
• Knowledge of MLOps and LLMOps.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with Hugging Face, Gemini Models, and open-source LLMs.

Educational Qualification

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, or related field.
