  • Processing and analyzing complex automotive sensor data to improve driving and parking functions.
  • Deep understanding of sensors (Camera fundamentals, Radar, LiDAR, IMU, Thermal), strong calibration knowledge, and 3D geometry.
  • Utilizing GCP services (BigQuery, Vertex AI, Dataflow, Cloud Run) to build robust data and ML pipelines for large-scale datasets.
  • The ability to collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth, efficient, and high-quality software delivery.


Responsibilities


  • Develop, train, and deploy ML models (classification, regression, clustering) for vehicle behavior analysis and sensor error detection.
  • Perform advanced data analysis on multi-modal sensor data (Camera, LiDAR, Radar, IMU, Thermal) using Python, Pandas, and Scikit-learn.
  • Build and maintain scalable data and ML pipelines on GCP (e.g., BigQuery, Vertex AI) to handle automotive datasets.
  • Apply model evaluation techniques (precision, recall, ROC, confusion matrix) to ensure robust performance.
  • Research and implement sensor calibration and anomaly detection algorithms.
  • Lead data science projects from conception to deployment, providing technical mentorship to team members.
  • Design and implement state-of-the-art Computer Vision algorithms for object detection, semantic segmentation, and tracking.
  • Develop advanced image processing techniques to enhance sensor data quality and robustness under diverse environmental conditions.
  • Apply strong calibration knowledge and 3D geometry principles to sensor data processing and computer vision tasks.


Required Skills & Experience:


  • Hands-on experience in Data Science preferably in automotive domain
  • Data Analysis & CV: OpenCV, PyTorch, TensorFlow, Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, Matplotlib, Plotly.
  • Machine Learning: Classification, regression, clustering, anomaly detection.
  • Model Evaluation: Precision, recall, ROC, confusion matrix.
  • Automotive Domain: Deep understanding of sensors (Camera fundamentals, Radar, LiDAR, IMU, Thermal), strong calibration knowledge, and 3D geometry.
  • GCP Data Engineering: Expertise in GCP services such as BigQuery, Vertex AI, Dataflow, Cloud Run, and Pub/Sub for data pipelines.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Leadership: Proven experience in team leadership, mentoring, and project management in a technical environment.
