Senior Consultant/ Manager/ Sr Manager Data Science & Portfolio Analytics

Job Overview: The role is a contractual one and were looking for a Data Science resource who will be directly involved in portfolio analytics from the client location in Mumbai and work as part of client analytics team

Seeking applicants with experience in Portfolio Management/Optimization in Cards only for a leading multinational company.

Candidates with more than 9 years experience need not apply.

Responsibilities and Duties: Portfolio Analytics

• Develop predictive solutions like segmentation/lookalike models for targeting of customers basis segments/persona, merchants.
• Identifying actionable insights through data driven analysis e.g. Driving card activation to increase spends & engagement.
• Understand the clients business problems and develop data driven frameworks in line with their growth strategy
• Devise analytical framework & strategies e.g. Drive higher customer card spends across channels & corridors, etc.
• Provide project management oversight, including planning, execution, and monitoring of projects.
• Share timely project updates with stakeholders, ensuring clear and consistent communication throughout the project lifecycle.
• Manage data science projects from conception through to deployment, ensuring timely and successful project delivery.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Product, Operations, and other stakeholders to understand their needs and provide data-driven insights.
• Communicate findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6-8 years of work experience in Data science roles with at least 4 years of experience in BFSI.
• Working experience in SQL, Python and relevant libraries (e.g., pandas, scikit-learn, NumPy, Python environments).
• Working experience in building predictive models on large datasets & feature engineering.
• Strong ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
• Working experience in developing models using XGBoost ML algorithm.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
