Data Science Instructor:

NDMIT is seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Data Science Instructor to join our Kanpur branch. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in Data Science concepts and the ability to train students through practical and industry-oriented sessions.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging classroom and practical sessions on Data Science.

Train students in Python, Statistics, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, SQL, and Power BI.

Guide students on real-time projects, assignments, and case studies.

Conduct assessments, monitor student progress, and provide feedback.

Assist students with interview preparation, resume building, and placement activities.

Requirements:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field.

13 years of experience in Data Science training or industry projects.

Strong knowledge of Python, Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, SQL, and Power BI.

Familiarity with Machine Learning and Deep Learning concepts.

Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Design and facilitate compelling hands-on projects that allow students to apply their knowledge and build a portfolio of work. We expect you to have demonstrative experience with projects in Python and machine learning.

Explain complex technical concepts clearly and concisely, making them accessible to a diverse group of learners.

Provide constructive feedback and mentorship, supporting students as they navigate challenges and deepen their understanding.

Collaborate with our team to continuously refine and enhance our curriculum, ensuring it remains relevant and cutting-edge.

Stay current with industry trends and advancements in data science and machine learning. Required Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Data Scientist, Machine Learning Engineer, or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing demonstrative experience with projects in Python and machine learning.

Expert-level proficiency in Python for data analysis, manipulation, and model building.

In-depth practical experience with common machine learning models, specifically: linear regression, logistic regression, decision trees, and random forests.

Exceptional ability to design and lead hands-on projects that foster practical skill development.

Strong communication and presentation skills, with a talent for explaining intricate technical details clearly.

Proficiency in SQL for data querying and management. Preferred Qualifications:

Familiarity with other Python libraries like Streamlit for building interactive data applications.

Experience with Natural Language Processing (NLP) concepts.

Exposure to Large Language Models (LLMs) or chatbot development.

Prior experience in teaching, mentoring, or training roles.
