About Position:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Data QA to ensure the accuracy, integrity, and reliability of data systems. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in data validation, SQL, and test automation, working closely with developers and analysts to improve data quality.

What You'll Do:

• Design and execute test plans, scenarios, and test cases for data validation
• Perform data testing using SQL and other validation tools
• Identify, analyze, and resolve data discrepancies and quality issues
• Collaborate with development and data teams to fix defects
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts for data validation
• Document test results, defects, and resolution status
• Ensure data integrity, consistency, and reliability across systems
• Contribute to improving overall data quality processes

Expertise You'll Bring:

• Strong understanding of IT QA principles and testing methodologies
• Hands-on experience in automation testing and frameworks
• Proficiency in SQL with ability to write complex queries for validation
• Experience in data testing and validation techniques
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of data quality management processes
• Understanding of ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes
• Familiarity with Python for scripting and automation
• Exposure to data analysis and identifying inconsistencies
• Knowledge of Big Data tools such as Hadoop, Spark
• Experience with Agile methodologies
• Understanding of data warehousing concepts
• Familiarity with visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI
• Knowledge of NoSQL databases such as MongoDB or Cassandra
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
