Responsibilities

Data Platform & Palantir Development

Design and develop data pipelines in Palantir Foundry using Contour, Workshop, Code Repositories (PySpark)

Build and manage data transformations, data syncs, export tasks, and scheduling workflows

Analyze large-scale utility datasets (e.g., grid, asset, outage data) to generate actionable insights

Data Engineering & Processing

Develop scalable data pipelines using PySpark and SQL for ingestion, transformation, and curation

Implement optimized data models for performance and reusability across analytical use cases

Ensure data quality, validation, and lineage across pipelines

Solution Design & Architecture

Create solution blueprints, architecture diagrams, and technical design documents

Define data flow, integration patterns, and system interactions across platforms

Collaborate with architecture teams for design approvals and best practices

Project Planning & Estimation

Prepare project estimates, timelines, and resource planning based on scope and complexity

Track delivery milestones and ensure alignment with business priorities

Stakeholder Management

Work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions

Conduct sprint demos and walkthroughs to ensure transparency and alignment

Support decision-making through data-driven insights

DevOps & Deployment

Coordinate with Infra and Operations teams for production deployments

Manage environment setup (Dev, QA, UAT, Prod) and deployment strategies

Prepare rollback, backup, and release plans

Cloud & Microservices Integration

Develop and integrate solutions using AWS services (Lambda, ECS, EC2)

Build supporting microservices where required for data processing or API exposure

Geospatial & Specialized Systems

Work with ArcGIS Pro for geospatial data processing and integration with utility datasets

Testing & Quality Assurance

Support Business UAT testing, identify defects, and resolve bugs

Implement monitoring, alerting, and logging mechanisms for production systems

Collaboration & Governance

Ensure compliance with data governance, security, and access control policies

Collaborate across cross-functional teams including Data, DevOps, Architecture, and Business
