Job Description
We are looking for a highly experienced Platform Architect to lead the design and evolution of scalable, enterprise-grade data platforms. If youre passionate about building modern, cloud-native data ecosystems, this is the role for you.
Role: Platform Architect Data & Engineering
Experience: 10+ Years (5+ Years in Architecture/Leadership)

Key Responsibilities
Architectural Leadership
- Define and evolve platform architecture for data ingestion, processing, storage, and APIs
- Ensure scalability across time-series, relational, NoSQL, and unstructured data systems
- Establish governance, standards, and lifecycle management for data platforms
- Drive adoption of cloud-native and API-first architectures
Hands-On Technical Leadership
- Lead platform services including event streaming, messaging, data pipelines, and APIs
- Guide teams on high-performance data access, indexing, caching, and search
- Collaborate on security, observability, and cost optimization
- Ensure seamless integration across platforms and external systems
Collaboration & Mentorship
- Partner with product, engineering, and infrastructure teams to align with business goals
- Mentor teams on data engineering and platform best practices
- Support cross-product initiatives and shared data infrastructure
Skills & Qualifications
- Strong expertise in data architecture (SQL, NoSQL, time-series, and unstructured data)
- Experience with event-driven systems & messaging (Kafka, RabbitMQ, Service Bus)
- Proficiency in microservices architecture & APIs (REST/GraphQL)
- Exposure to MEAN stack (Node.js, Express, MongoDB, Angular) is a plus
- Knowledge of DevOps, observability, governance, and platform security
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
Experience
- 10+ years in software engineering (data/platform systems)
- 5+ years in architecture or platform leadership roles
- Experience building enterprise-grade / SaaS / multi-tenant platforms
- Background in time-series or event-driven systems is highly preferred
