Sr. Data Modeler – Snowflake

We are looking for a Lead Data Modeler with strong experience in enterprise data modeling, data warehouse design, and Snowflake Data Cloud.

The ideal candidate should have deep expertise in designing conceptual, logical, and physical data models, along with strong hands-on experience in dimensional modeling, complex SQL, and enterprise-scale data warehouse / data mart design.

Key skills we are looking for:

• 7-10+ years of overall experience in data engineering, data modeling, analytics engineering, or related roles
• 6–8 years of experience as a Data Modeler or Data Architect
• Strong expertise in dimensional modeling, including fact tables, conformed dimensions, and SCD Type 1 / Type 2
• Experience in designing conceptual, logical, and physical data models
• Strong knowledge of OLTP and OLAP modeling
• Hands-on experience with complex SQL queries
• Experience designing enterprise-scale data marts and data warehouses
• Strong experience with Snowflake Data Cloud
• Experience with Informatica PowerCenter

Preferred exposure / added advantage:

• Experience with modeling tools such as SQL DBM, ERWIN, or ER/Studio
• Understanding of modern data lake / medallion architecture including bronze, silver, and gold layers
• ERP domain data modeling experience in Oracle EBS, JDE, or Oracle Cloud ERP
• Additional experience with Oracle and SQL Server
• Strong documentation skills including source-to-target mappings, data dictionaries, and data lineage

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to present complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and senior leaders
• Experience leading or mentoring small technical teams
• Ability to balance leadership responsibilities with hands-on technical contribution
