Job Title: Data Modeler Insurance & Investments (Redshift/Snowflake)

We are looking for an experienced Data Modeler with strong expertise in Insurance and Investment domain to design and manage scalable data models for enterprise analytics. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in data modeling, data warehousing, and cloud platforms (Amazon Redshift/Snowflake), along with the ability to translate complex business requirements into robust analytical data structures.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models
• Build dimensional data models (Star & Snowflake schema)
• Develop and optimize data models on Amazon Redshift / Snowflake
• Work closely with business stakeholders, data architects, and engineering teams
• Model key datasets across:
• Policy, Claims, Premium, Underwriting
• Investment portfolios, holdings, trades, valuations
• Perform data validation, reconciliation, and quality checks
• Ensure data consistency, governance, and modeling standards
• Support reporting, analytics, and regulatory requirements
• Optimize performance using MPP concepts and query tuning

Required Skills

• 6 to 8 years of experience in Data Modeling & Data Warehousing
• Strong expertise in:
• Conceptual, Logical & Physical Data Modeling
• Dimensional Modeling (Star/Snowflake Schema)
• Hands-on experience with:
• Amazon Redshift / Snowflake
• Advanced SQL
• Strong domain knowledge in:
• Insurance (Life & Annuity) (Must-have)
• Investment / Financial Data
• Experience with MPP architecture & performance optimization
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams

Good to Have

• Iceberg / Data Lake technologies
• Data Governance / Metadata tools
• Experience in Financial Services / Enterprise environment

Candidates with strong Insurance domain experience + Data Modeling on Redshift/Snowflake will be preferred.
