Data Migration Specialist

Data Migration Lead - Bangalore

Contract: Mid-March start date running to the end of May 2026

We are seeking an experienced Data Migration Lead to manage a critical data migration project for a global brand. This short-term role will own the end-to-end migration of key data, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and seamless integration with existing enterprise systems, including SAP.

Candidates must be fluent in English to effectively collaborate with global teams and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the full lifecycle of data migration, including extraction, transformation, validation, and load
• Coordinate migration activities across multiple internal teams and external partners
• Ensure migrated data aligns with SAP data models and downstream business processes
• Analyse, map, and transform legacy data, resolving inconsistencies and meeting compliance standards
• Design and execute ETL processes, including data cleansing, standardisation, and enrichment
• Lead testing, validation, and issue resolution
• Maintain detailed documentation and ensure governance and data quality standards

Experience & Capabilities:

• Proven experience leading complex data migration projects
• Strong understanding of SAP data structures, integrations, and migration processes
• Solid ETL and data transformation skills
• Analytical, organised, and able to manage multiple workstreams
• Strong communicator, able to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
