Data Migration Lead - SAP

Contract

Onsite 5 days : Challaghatta, Bangalore

Key Responsibility :

Act as the deployment focal point for assigned data objects within the migration scope

Serve as the primary liaison between Business Data Owners (BDOs), Functional Process Experts, ETL teams, legacy system teams, and IT stakeholders

Drive endtoend data migration activities, including:

• Data cleansing
• Additional field mapping
• Data loads
• Migration documentation

Plan, prepare, and request washing machine runs to validate migration readiness

Analyze defects and issues identified in readiness and migration reports; manage data deviations through resolution in collaboration with relevant stakeholders

Lead and execute data verification testing, supporting local Business Data Owners during validation

Design, manage, and resolve defects related to global tools (e.g., data load tools), including escalation to Global Functional Data Owners when required

Approve DMWs (Data Migration Workbooks) from an IT and technical compliance perspective

Coordinate and support Data Cleansing activities, working closely with Local Business Data Owners

Collaborate with Product Teams on all data cleansingrelated matters

Train local Business Data Owners on data migration processes, standards, and best practices

Ensure data quality, consistency, and auditability throughout the migration lifecycle
