Position Overview:

We are looking for a Data Migration Engineer with experience in ITSM ticketing tools and scripting. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling end-to-end data migration activities, ensuring data accuracy, and supporting system implementations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Perform end-to-end data migration (extraction, transformation, and loading)
2. Work with ITSM/CX tools (e.g., ticketing systems) to manage and validate data
3. Clean, transform, and validate data before migration
4. Develop and use scripts for automation
5. Identify and resolve data quality issues (duplicates, missing data, formatting errors)
6. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and mapping
7. Support testing, validation, and post-migration activities
8. Maintain proper documentation for migration processes

Required Skills & Experience

• 2+ years of experience in Data Migration / Data Handling
• Experience working with ITSM ticketing tools (e.g., Freshservice, ServiceNow, ManageEngine, Zendesk, etc.)
• Good understanding of data formats (Excel, CSV, JSON)
• Strong knowledge of databases (SQL, data structures, queries, joins, data manipulation)
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Good to Have

• Experience with Freshworks Ecosystem
• Intermediate knowledge of Python
• Good knowledge of API integrations
• Exposure to ETL tools or data migration frameworks
• Understanding of ITIL processes

Qualification

• Bachelor's degree in computer science / IT or related field
