Required Technical Skills & Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end data pipelines using PySpark

Develop and optimize data models and transformations in Snowflake

Perform data ingestion, transformation, and loading (ETL/ELT)

Write efficient and scalable SQL queries for analytics and reporting

Ensure data quality, integrity, and reconciliation across pipelines

Optimize Snowflake performance (clustering, warehouse sizing, cost optimization)

Work with structured and semi-structured data (JSON, Parquet, CSV)

Collaborate with data analysts, BI teams, and architects

Monitor and troubleshoot pipeline failures and production issues

Maintain documentation and adhere to data governance standards

MustHave Skills

Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake

Proficiency in PySpark

Excellent SQL skills (joins, tuning, optimization)

Experience in ETL/ELT pipeline development

Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts (Star/Snowflake schema)

Experience with large-scale data processing

Working knowledge of Linux/Unix

Experience with Git and Agile/SDLC processes
