Data Engineer

About Position:

Data Engineers enable practical execution of governance policies by preparing data sources and developing supporting logic where native execution is not sufficient.

What You'll Do:

• Assess data source readiness for BigID onboarding and policy execution.
• Identify technical dependencies and risks for archival and deletion (referential integrity, downstream jobs, regulatory constraints).
• Develop custom scripts, jobs, or procedures (SQL, Python, shell) to execute approved archival and deletion actions triggered by BigID.
• Support integration between BigID and data platforms (databases, data lakes, file systems).
• Assist in validation testing and remediation of execution issues.

Expertise You'll Bring:

• Strong SQL, scripting, and data engineering skills
• Experience working with healthcare data systems and lifecycle controls
• Experience of Azure cloud platform
• Ensure security, error handling, logging, and performance optimization
