Data Engineer

About Position:

We are looking for a skilled Data Engineer with 5+ years of experience in building and managing scalable data pipelines. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Python-based ETL/ELT development, data modeling, and cloud data platforms, along with exposure to AI/ML and GenAI data enablement.

What You'll Do:

• Design, build, and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines using Python (high priority).
• Develop and manage data transformations using SQL Server and relational databases.
• Exposure to Databricks, Spark, or Big Data processing frameworks.
• Prepare training-ready datasets for GenAI, LLMs, and ML models.
• Collaborate with data scientists and AI teams, including Defensive AI initiatives.
• Build and deploy pipelines on cloud platforms (Azure / Databricks / Big Data ecosystems).
• Work with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and DevOps practices for data engineering workflows.

Expertise You'll Bring:

• 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering / ETL Development.
• Strong hands-on experience in:
• Python (ETL, data transformation, automation)
• SQL / SQL Server (querying, optimization, data modeling)
• Experience with:
• Data Modeling & Data Warehousing concepts
• ETL / ELT development on cloud platforms
• Exposure to:
• Databricks, Spark, or Big Data technologies
• AI/ML lifecycle and data preparation for GenAI / LLMs
• Hands-on experience with:
• Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile methodologies
• Data quality frameworks and monitoring tools
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
