Hiring: Data Engineering Manager | Bangalore
We are looking for a seasoned Data Engineering Manager with strong technical roots and leadership experience to drive modern data platform initiatives.
Key Requirements
- 1015 years of experience in data engineering/software development
- Must have started career as a Java/Data Developer
- 23+ years as an Engineering Manager leading teams & delivery
- Strong expertise in modern data engineering (Spark, Python/Java, ETL/ELT)
- Hands-on exposure to cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/Databricks)
- Experience in data architecture, pipelines, and scalable systems
- Strong people management, Agile delivery & stakeholder handling skills
Responsibilities
- Lead data engineering teams and project delivery
- Oversee end-to-end data pipeline development (ingestion analytics)
- Ensure scalability, performance, and data quality
- Review architecture & guide engineering best practices
- Mentor teams and drive continuous improvement
