Data Engineer Systematic Equities Trading & Mid Frequency ( Preferred)

Location: Gurgaon I Hybrid I Remote

Key Responsibilities:

Build and own the end-to-end data platform for systematic equities trading, from raw vendor data through to research-ready datasets.

Develop scalable pipelines for ingestion, cleaning, normalization, and historical data management.

Ensure point-in-time accurate datasets while managing revisions, biases, and data inconsistencies.

Partner closely with quantitative researchers to enable alpha generation and systematic research.

Establish robust data validation, monitoring, and documentation standards.

Requirements:

Strong experience building scalable data engineering and ETL platforms.

Experience working with large-scale structured and unstructured datasets.

Understanding of financial market data, historical data management, and data quality controls is highly desirable.

Ability to work closely with researchers, engineers, and other stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.

Strong ownership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
