Data Center Engineer

Grow Your Staff is looking for a Data Center Engineer for a real estate firm based in Hyderabad. The position is a full-time opportunity in Hyderabad, India.

The role will have excellent growth opportunities. You will work directly with the on-ground team, supporting infrastructure setup and maintenance across data center and critical facility sites.

Experience: 2-4 years

CTC: INR 4-6 LPA

Location: On-site (Hyderabad)

Time: 10 AM to 7 PM IST (Monday-Friday)

Responsibilities:

• Assist in setting up and maintaining infrastructure across sites, including data centers and critical facilities
• Monitor and maintain electrical systems such as UPS, DG (diesel generators), and power distribution systems
• Support installation, testing, and troubleshooting of electrical infrastructure within data center environments
• Ensure the uptime and reliability of critical infrastructure through regular checks and preventive maintenance
• Coordinate with vendors for maintenance of electrical systems and related equipment
• Maintain documentation of systems, maintenance activities, and incident reports
• Ensure adherence to safety standards and operational procedures
• Travel across different locations within the city for on-site support and deployments

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering (Mandatory)
• 2-4 years of experience in data center, facilities, or electrical infrastructure roles
• Basic understanding of data center or critical infrastructure environments
• Familiarity with UPS systems, DG sets, and electrical distribution
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical systems and infrastructure issues
• Hands-on approach with willingness to work in site-based environments
• Willingness to travel within the city as required
