Data Architect

About the Role

Pinnacle Software and Services Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced Data Architect to lead the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and high-performance data platforms. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in defining enterprise-wide data architecture, enabling analytics initiatives, and ensuring data quality, governance, and security across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable, secure, and reliable enterprise data architectures.
• Develop logical and physical data models aligned with business requirements.
• Define data storage, data integration, and data transformation strategies.
• Build and optimize data pipelines for analytics and reporting.
• Collaborate with engineering, analytics, and business stakeholders to define data strategy.
• Establish and maintain data governance, compliance, and security standards.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, integrity, and availability across systems.
• Support business intelligence, analytics, and reporting initiatives.
• Optimize data systems for scalability, reliability, and performance.
• Evaluate and recommend modern data technologies, tools, and frameworks.
• Lead architecture discussions and mentor engineering teams on data best practices.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in Data Architecture, Data Engineering, or Enterprise Data Solutions.
• Strong expertise in Data Modeling (Logical and Physical).
• Deep understanding of Data Warehousing concepts and architectures.
• Strong hands-on experience with SQL and Python.
• Experience designing and managing enterprise-scale databases.
• Experience with Data Integration and ETL/ELT frameworks.
• Working knowledge of Big Data technologies and distributed data processing frameworks.
• Experience with AWS or Azure cloud platforms.
• Strong understanding of Data Governance, Data Quality, and Security principles.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Snowflake, Databricks, Redshift, or Azure Synapse.
• Exposure to Data Lake and Lakehouse architectures.
• Experience with Apache Spark, Hadoop, or other Big Data frameworks.
• Understanding of Master Data Management (MDM).
• Experience with enterprise-scale analytics platforms.
• Cloud architecture certifications.
• Experience working in Agile environments.
• TOGAF or Enterprise Architecture exposure.
