Inviting applications for the role of Senior Principal Consultant – Principal Data Migration Architect & Lead – ServiceNow.

We are looking for a highly experienced and seasoned Architect who can lead overall SNOW Data migration, can build accelerators for end-to-end data migration process leveraging automations/scripts/API solutions. Also, review and represent Data migration strategy and status with C level execs.

Core Responsibilities

1. Data Migration Architecture & Strategy

• Define end-to-end migration architecture for ServiceNow (data flow, integration patterns, tooling)
• Establish migration strategy (phased, big-bang, parallel run, archival approach)
• Design scalable and reusable migration frameworks/accelerators
• Define data models, canonical structures, and alignment with ServiceNow schema (CMDB, ITSM, custom tables)
• Own data governance, standards, and architecture principles across the program

2. Program Leadership & Delivery Ownership

• Lead end-to-end migration delivery across multiple tracks and teams
• Own planning, execution, and delivery accountability for migration milestones
• Drive alignment between architecture, business, and platform teams
• Manage complex dependencies (APIs, SMEs, upstream/downstream systems) impacting delivery
• Provide leadership during escalations, ensuring continuity under constraints

3. Data Engineering & Migration Execution

• Oversee data extraction, transformation, and load pipelines
• Define and validate source-to-target data mapping and transformation logic
• Architect and drive API-based and automated migration approaches
• Ensure performance optimization for large-volume data processing and migration
• Define standards for ETL/ELT tooling and integration frameworks

4. Data Quality, Governance & Compliance

• Establish data quality frameworks (validation, reconciliation, audit trails)
• Define and monitor data quality KPIs and controls
• Ensure compliance with enterprise data governance and audit requirements
• Drive data cleansing, archival, and retention strategies

5. Testing, Cutover & Go-Live Leadership

• Define migration testing strategy (mock loads, SIT, UAT, performance testing)
• Own cutover architecture, planning, and execution strategy
• Lead dress rehearsals and migration readiness assessments
• Oversee final production migration and hypercare stabilization

6. Stakeholder & Executive Management

• Act as the primary data migration authority for client and program leadership
• Engage with ServiceNow architects, SMEs, and business stakeholders
• Drive decision-making on data scope, transformation rules, and trade-offs
• Provide executive reporting on migration risks, progress, and mitigation plans

7. Innovation & Continuous Improvement

• Introduce automation, accelerators, and reusable components to improve speed and quality
• Leverage lessons learned from prior migrations to optimize execution
• Drive adoption of best practices in data migration and ServiceNow transformation
• Enable transition to future-state scalable architecture and data platforms

Required Skills & Experience

Technical Expertise

• Deep expertise in ServiceNow architecture and data model (CMDB, ITSM, custom tables)
• Strong experience in:
  • API-driven integrations (REST/SOAP)
  • Data migration frameworks and ETL tools
  • SQL, data profiling, cleansing, and transformation
• Experience designing large-scale migration pipelines and automation solutions

Architecture & Program Skills

• Proven experience as Data Migration Architect / Lead on large transformation programs
• Ability to design enterprise-grade data migration strategies and governance models
• Experience handling complex, distributed system landscapes and integrations
• Strong understanding of testing strategies (SIT, UAT, performance) aligned to migration
