Your role

If yes, we are looking for someone to lead Data Services Operations Lead in Pune, ensuring stable BAU delivery, handle escalations, manage projects and drive consistent data quality across datasets.

In this role, you will oversee multiple teams, drive accountability and act as link between DS leads and stakeholders.

Your team

UBS Asset Management Data Services team is responsible for providing timely, accurate and complete Security Reference & Price Data, Analytics, Index and Benchmark data to the UBS Asset Management Division – in line with defined requirements.

Sitting at the intersection of the Business and Technology teams, AM Security Reference & Price Data team is part of the Asset Management COO function and has a mandate to govern and commercialize data through innovative technology and services.

Team provides 24*6 coverage to ensure uninterrupted support and assistance to the Asset Management Division. Team members are in Chicago, Krakow, Zurich, Singapore, and Pune.

Your expertise

• You’re curious to explore how AI can improve how we build, deliver, and optimize workflows. You do this with sound judgment – validating outputs and aligning with policies, risk standards, and ethical use.
• BAU oversight and delivery across teams, ensuring operational stability.
• Drive process improvements.
• Act as point of escalations for data and process issues with stakeholders.
• Track and report risks, including NFRI and KPIs.
• Lead and manage multiple projects and initiatives.
• Coordinate with IT, data providers and global stakeholders for data solutions.
In addition, you will be expected to:
• Identify opportunities to streamline data management processes, to improve efficiency.
• Actively seek automation initiatives to simplify processes and reduce manual effort.
• Participate & Contribute Subject Matter Expertise (SME) in team, function, division and even Group wide data & business initiatives.
• Proactively identify and resolve potential problems and risks before they arise.
• Follow escalation guidelines and escalate issues in a timely manner, when appropriate.
