Data Analyst- SQL/PowerBI:

We are seeking an experienced Data Analyst SQL/Power BI professional to design, develop, and maintain robust analytics and reporting solutions. The role requires strong expertise in Power BI, data modeling, and advanced analytics, along with the ability to work closely with stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable, high-quality data solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI reports and dashboards to support business decision-making.
• Work extensively with Power BI architecture, including Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, Power BI Mobile, Power Query, and DAX.
• Develop, manage, and optimize Power BI Dataflows for scalable and reusable data transformations.
• Analyze, model, and interpret complex datasets to deliver actionable insights.
• Write and optimize SQL, PySpark, and Python scripts for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
• Use Alteryx to create, maintain, and optimize analytical workflows.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and performance across reports and datasets.
• Design and develop applications using Microsoft Power Apps, ensuring performance, scalability, and responsiveness.
• Manage and secure data using Microsoft Dataverse, ensuring data integrity and accessibility.
• Integrate Power Apps with Microsoft 365 tools such as Power Automate and Power BI to enhance user experience and automation.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into functional and technical specifications.
• Conduct testing, debugging, and performance optimization prior to deployment.
• Provide ongoing support, enhancements, and maintenance for existing reports and applications.
• Stay current with Microsoft Power Platform and Power BI updates, best practices, and new features.

Required Skills & Experience

• 6+ years of experience in data analytics and business intelligence.
• Proven hands-on experience with Power BI (experience with Tableau or other BI tools is a plus).
• Strong proficiency in Power Query, DAX, Power BI Service, Power BI Desktop, and Power BI Mobile.
• Solid programming skills in SQL, PySpark, and Python.
• Experience using Alteryx for building and maintaining data workflows.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to model, interpret, and visualize data effectively.
• High level of mathematical ability and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working with Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Dataverse.
• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to Have

• Experience with cloud data platforms (Azure Synapse, Microsoft Fabric, or similar).
• Familiarity with Agile/SCRUM methodologies.
• Exposure to enterprise data governance and security best practices.
