Role Description As a Customer Support Professional at Freshlings, you will be the primary point of contact for customers, handling inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive experience across all touchpoints.
You will respond to customer questions in person, by phone, chat, or email, assist with orders, deliveries, and product information, and document interactions in support systems. You will work closely with kitchen, store, and operations teams to address concerns, track recurring issues, and provide feedback that improves processes and customer satisfaction. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai, requiring presence at the Express Avenue location and close collaboration with the front-of-house and back-of-house teams.
Qualifications
- Strong Customer Support and Customer Satisfaction skills, with experience handling inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional manner.
- Excellent Interpersonal Skills, including active listening, empathy, and the ability to build rapport with diverse customers and team members.
- Ability to provide basic Technical Support and troubleshoot order or system-related issues, with comfort using POS and support tools.
- Solid Analytical Skills to identify patterns in customer feedback, suggest improvements, and support data-driven decisions.
- Clear spoken and written communication skills in English; fluency in Tamil or other local languages is an advantage.
- Previous experience in customer-facing roles, preferably in food service, retail, or hospitality.
- High level of reliability, time management, and ability to work in a fast-paced, on-site environment with rotating shifts if required.
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with CRM or ticketing systems; willingness to learn new tools.
- Educational background in any discipline; formal training in customer service or hospitality is a plus.
