Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineering Lead, a typical day involves overseeing the technical direction and architectural design of custom software solutions. This role requires guiding and supporting teams throughout the design and delivery phases, ensuring that development standards are maintained. The position focuses on achieving high-quality, scalable, and performant software that aligns with the broader business goals. Collaboration with various stakeholders and continuous evaluation of technical approaches are integral parts of the daily routine, fostering innovation and effective problem-solving within the team environment.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead the establishment and enforcement of development standards to ensure consistency and quality across projects.
- Facilitate communication and coordination between cross-functional teams to align technical efforts with business objectives.
- Mentor and support junior team members to foster professional growth and enhance team capabilities.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP Sales and Distribution (SD).
- Good To Have Skills: Experience with Order to Cash (OTC).
- Strong knowledge of software architecture principles and best practices for scalable system design.
- Ability to analyze complex technical challenges and develop effective solutions.
- Experience in leading software development teams and managing project delivery timelines.
- Familiarity with integration techniques and tools relevant to enterprise resource planning systems.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in SAP Sales and Distribution (SD).
- This position is based at our Hyderabad office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
