Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves leading the design, development, and configuration of specialized software applications. This role requires taking ownership of the project s technical direction and serving as the main liaison for all application-related activities. The position demands coordinating with various stakeholders to ensure the solutions meet business needs while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency. The engineer actively oversees the progress of development tasks and ensures alignment with project goals, fostering collaboration and innovation throughout the software delivery process.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead the planning and execution of software development activities to meet project timelines and quality standards.
- Facilitate effective communication between technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure clear understanding of requirements and deliverables.
- Mentor junior team members by providing guidance and support to enhance their technical skills and professional growth.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP for Utilities Cust Financial Mgt FICA.
- Strong knowledge of application design principles and software configuration techniques within the SAP environment.
- Experience in troubleshooting and resolving complex issues related to financial management modules.
- Ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications and solutions.
- Familiarity with integration processes and data flow between SAP modules and external systems.
- Competence in collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver cohesive and scalable software solutions.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in SAP for Utilities Cust Financial Mgt FICA.
- This position is based at our Kolkata office.
