Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves developing and configuring software systems tailored to meet specific project requirements or managing particular phases within the product lifecycle. The role requires applying a comprehensive understanding of various technologies, methodologies, and tools to effectively support clients, projects, or organizational entities. Daily activities may include collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements, designing system components, implementing solutions, and ensuring seamless integration within the broader software environment. The position demands adaptability to evolving project needs and a proactive approach to problem-solving to deliver high-quality software outcomes.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to identify process improvements and implement best practices within the team.
- Mentor junior team members to foster skill development and knowledge sharing.
- Coordinate cross-functional communication to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Oracle Primavera P6.
- Experience in project scheduling, resource allocation, and risk management using Oracle Primavera P6.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret project data and generate actionable insights.
- Ability to customize and configure software modules to meet specific project requirements.
- Familiarity with integration of Oracle Primavera P6 with other enterprise systems.
- Competence in troubleshooting and resolving software-related issues efficiently.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Oracle Primavera P6.
- This position is based at our Chennai office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
